With its sleek and contemporary design, the Hutton Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee certainly gives new meaning to the term “Southern hospitality.”
From the moment you walk into the lobby, bamboo complements its rock face gold sand marble to create a chic and welcoming atmosphere.
The hotel is located a couple of minutes’ drive from the heart of Nashville’s downtown action in the Honky Tonk district – the place where the city comes alive with energetic live music venues, delicious Southern restaurants and lively bars.
Hutton Hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service daily from 7:30 am to 10:30 pm thanks to its valet crew and a Nissan Van and Nissan Tesla S. The friendly attendants will drive you anywhere within a three-mile radius of the hotel on a first-come, first-serve basis, which is the best way to get into town.
Whenever you need to get picked up, simply dial the hotel and they’ll come collect you. All of the drivers are full of local knowledge. Without their help, my friend and I wouldn’t have had the best ribs in town if it wasn’t for being told about Edley’s Bar-B-Que on 12th Avenue or we wouldn’t have recorded our own record at Jack White’s record store called Third Man Records!
Back at the hotel, the contemporary design was crafted by architect Earl Swensson and interior designer Dayna Lee of Powerstrip Studio who created a combination of New York, Los Angeles and Nashville aesthetics.
The chic atmosphere makes for a welcoming stay in any of its guest rooms. One of the coolest additions in each room is the glass ink countertops and granite showers with invigorating rainfall showerheads.
Each room features the latest technology, including very cool LG Jack Packs: a multi-media interface to the in-room TV display panel. Plug in your MP3 player, laptop, camera or camcorder and enjoy the images and sounds through the flat panel television.
There’s free-of-charge high-speed wired and wireless internet and complimentary gourmet coffee and tea.
Each bathroom is decked out with granite flooring, a glass vanity with integral bowl, a rain shower head, luxurious oversized bath sheets and towel, a hairdryer and LED magnifying makeup mirrors. Another added touch is the luxurious Molton Brown bath products.
