It’s called the QSuite — the brand new business class concept from Qatar Airways designed for business travelers and families traveling in groups of four.
‘The Quad’ turns four luxury suites into one pod, transforming into a private space that is fully adaptable for family time or business meetings.
QSuite features the industry’s first-ever double bed available in Qatar Airways Business Class, with privacy panels that stow away, allowing passengers in adjoining seats to create their own private room.
Adjustable panels and movable TV monitors on the center four seats allows colleagues, friends or families traveling together to transform their space into a private suite, allowing them to work, dine and socialize together.
These new features provide the ultimate customizable travel experience that enables passengers to create an environment that suits their own unique needs.
Each seat is crafted with hand-stitched Italian leather, bringing an unprecedented level of luxury, privacy and style to Qatar Airways’ Business Class offering.
The first fully lie-flat double bed promises you and your travel companion the ultimate journey in Business Class.
Its bespoke turn down service comes complete with luxury pillows and a quilted mattress.
With aft and forward-facing seats, QSuite definitely takes cabin innovation to an entirely new level.
The new QSuite concept will be retrofitted on to the existing Qatar Airways fleet starting from June 2017, at an estimated rate of one aircraft a month.
It took designers and engineers two years to craft the transformable seats, which are finished with leather and ‘satin rose gold finishing.’
Other perks for Qatar Airways business class passengers include amenity kits, designed by premium luggage brand Bric’s, featuring products from Italy’s Castello Monte Vibiano Vecchio.
Qatar Airways is the national carrier of the State of Qatar, and is one of the fastest growing airlines operating one of the youngest fleets in the world.
The cost for this new level of luxury? Expect to fork out around $US4,600 for a return flight from London to Doha, the capital of the State of Qatar.
